I am proud to share that I participated in the 2024 season of Sterren op het Doek (Stars on Canvas), a Dutch TV program broadcast on national television (NPO2). During the episode, I created a portrait of actress Jelka van Houten. I am honored to announce that Jelka selected my portrait as her favorite.

For this portrait, I used my signature woodcut technique, working in multiple layers. The process began with a chalk sketch directly onto the wood, followed by detailed carving to shape the image. I then applied layers of acrylic paint to add color and depth.

This experience was a wonderful opportunity to share my art and creative process with a broader audience. Thank you to everyone who watched the episode and supported my journey.
